MAVVision ("the App") is provided by devararendy as a tool for connecting MAVLink telemetry and streaming camera data. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information for anyone using our service.
1. Information Collection and Use
MAVVision is designed as a "bridge" application. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data to external servers. All data processing (MAVLink telemetry, Video/Audio Streaming, and Real-time Voice) happens locally on your device or is transmitted directly to the IP addresses/ports specified by you. Audio and video streams are processed ephemerally in volatile memory for immediate transmission/playback and are not stored by the developer.
2. Permissions and Data Usage
To provide its core functionality, especially when the device is attached to a Remote Controlled (RC) vehicle, the App requires the following permissions:
- Camera: Used to capture video for the FPV (First Person View) stream. Video is processed in real-time and only recorded to local storage if explicitly triggered by the user.
- Microphone (Two-Way Audio Intercom): The App uses the microphone for two purposes:
- Live Streaming: Capturing ambient audio from the device's surroundings and streaming it to the remote web interface so the operator can "hear" what the vehicle hears.
- Voice Interaction: Synchronizing audio with video recordings and facilitating real-time voice playback from the remote operator through the device's speaker.
- Location (Foreground Service): Used solely to access system APIs for checking WiFi and Cellular signal levels. This data is displayed on the On-Screen Display (OSD) to ensure the operator is aware of signal levels while the phone is operating on the vehicle. Precise location data is NOT collected, tracked, or shared.
- Network (Local & Internet): Used to establish secure TCP/UDP/WebSocket connections. Browser-to-device communications are encrypted using HTTPS and Secure WebSockets (WSS).
- USB/Serial: Used to communicate with flight controllers or telemetry radios via USB-OTG.
- In-App Purchases (Billing): Used to process transactions for "Pro" features via the Google Play Store.
3. IMPORTANT: Disclaimer of Liability and Privacy of Others
MAVVision is a tool intended for use with Remote Controlled (RC) vehicles. By using this App, you agree to the following:
- Pilot Responsibility: The user (the "Pilot") is solely responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle and the legality of all audio/video captured or broadcasted.
- Privacy of Others: Because this App allows for remote listening and viewing, the Pilot is responsible for ensuring that their use of the App complies with all local privacy laws. You must not use this App to surreptitiously record or listen to individuals without their consent.
- Assumption of Risk: Using this App for FPV navigation involves inherent risks. Hardware failures, software bugs, or signal interference can occur.
- Limitation of Liability: The developer shall not be held responsible for any damage to property, personal injury, privacy violations, or legal infractions resulting from the use of this application.

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
